Adidas releases a limited-edition version of the UltraBOOST 4.0 model to commemorate thepickjoy.com the fifth anniversary of their game-changing BOOST technology. The latest addition to their famed lineup features a minimalistic black Primeknit construction, while grey detailing is seen on the side panel branding. Subtle yellow accents make their way onto the tongue, torsion bar and insoles offering a slight contrast.
This adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 comes dressed in a Footwear White and Grey Two colour adidas sneakers white womens combination. Across the Primeknit upper is the two shades which gives it the “cookies & cream” look. In addition we have White on the Three Stripes cages and speckled laces. Finishing the look is Black on the heel counter, Boost midsole and Continental rubber outsole.
And Triple Black Ultra Boost 4.0 is complimented with a soft nylon lace surround. It’s a unique feature which is yet to be seen on this performance runner. At the adidas ultra boost 4.0 orchid tint rear sits a 3D printed heel cap. All the features match the upper in a tonal shade of black. That even extends onto the Boost Unit underfoot. As always, you can be assured of re-energising cushioning with every stride.
For those not in the know, the adidas Ultra Boost is the first adidas shoe to have the entire Top Quality midsole composed of Boost material. Boost is a cushioning compound composed of TPU pellets, which delivers a soft yet responsive ride. Since this shoe will have a 100% Boost midsole, it will be softer than other adidas Boost shoes and thanks to the outsole construction, the shoe will be extremely flexible.
