Capitalizing on adidas stan smith the recent success of '90s basketball peers in the Crazy 8 and Top Ten 2000, Three Stripes resurrected another EQT-era baller for 2013. The adidas Real Deal has been a welcome surprise, bringing back the original colorways along with a variety of new styles including the one pictured above. This latest drop has a unique visual appeal that comes not from a complicated colorway, but rather the printed sockliner and speckled midsole sandwiching the tonal blue upper. A curious graffiti emblem falls in between on the lateral ankle, so you'll want to check out all these details in more photos, then grab a pair from adidas Originals retailers like Oneness. A few weeks ago, new ground was broken in the sneaker community when Dwyane Wade wore a pair of the Li-Ning Way of Wade created by Mache Customs.
We noted the significance of that event as the opening of the door to more NBA on-feet customs, and it looks like there was one this past weekend when New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert wore this nice adidas Real Deal custom designed by Jason Negron aka Sole Swap. Classic Knicks colorways never fail in getting our attention, but when it's a pair adidas zx flux of customs, it's always worth a second look. Submitting the footwear element of this endeavor is adidas and two trail-ready silhouettes the Response Trail Boost and the Terrex Agravic GTX in colorways inspired by the orange hues and blue sky of the Antelope Canyons and the enlightening colors of dusk. KITH's sublime color-blocking touch certainly shines through on both silhouettes, while the Terrex model features the KITH EEA logo on the upper. Most of adidas' recent offroad releases have featured a casual lean, but here's one that's topped out on both style and performance. The new adidas RG3 Energy Boost trainer for Robert Griffin III is back with another set of story telling colorways. The two-shoe group is labeled as "No Pressure, No Diamonds" in reference to a phrase uttered by the man himself back at his 2011 Heisman Trophy acceptance speech. There's a black colorway presumably referencing the carbon beginnings of that process, and then there's a brilliant white representing the resultant diamonds.
